Trapped in a school that uses girls with extraordinary powers as tools for corporate espionage, Annie and Fia are forced to choose over and over between using their abilities in twisted, unthinkable ways… or risking each other’s lives by refusing to obey.
In a stunning departure from her New York Times bestselling Paranormalcy trilogy, Kiersten White delivers a slick, edgy, heartstoppingly intense psychological thriller about two sisters determined to protect each other—no matter the cost.
Why I'm Excited: I have been complaining to anyone who will listen how sick I am of girls being frenemies while the male characters get amazing bromances. I'm dying to read a female version of a bromance and I think Kiersten White can deliver. Plus, she's an amazing author and seriously... did you read the description?
Mind Games comes out February 19, 2013 from HarperTeen.

I enjoyed this one and hope you do too.
ReplyDeleteHope you get to read it soon!

I agree, frenimies suck! I have enough of those biatches in my real world I don't need them in my book world!
ReplyDeleteNow I kind of want to watch Spice World for the first time, and I have no idea why beyond the obvious Girl Power idea... ;)
ReplyDeleteThis isn't frenemies but I wouldn't call it a sismance (ick) either. Fia and Annie sort of hate each other. They've got some love/hate vibes going on for sure, and I wouldn't call them friends.
ReplyDeleteYay! I'm excited for this one too! Here’s my WoW post!
