Sundays in bed with is hosted by Kate at Midnight Book Girl. Sorry this post is late. My brother is home on leave this weekend so I was out late last night. But this afternoon, I'm catching up on Downton Abbey. I'm HATING this season, but we will see how things turn out.
I have issues with so many of the storylines... I'm so bored of Bates that I kind of want him to turn out guilty. The end of the season is finally exploring the themes that made the first two so interesting, but it's being done in such a depressing way that it is hard to enjoy. We shall see how this ends.
Bookwise, I'm starting the audiobook of A Clash of Kings this week. I am completely obsessed with A Song of Fire and Ice. I'm seriously going to do a whole week coming up for the first book/comic/tv show.

I JUST started watching this show! I watched the first season in 2 days and then I just now started the second season. But I'm addicted now! And I wish I could be watching it right now but alas, I'm spending my day catching up on blogging stuff. Hope you have a great day watching!
ReplyDeleteI'm all caught up for the season finale but I'm not so impressed with this season either. I guess we'll see how it turns out.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't agree with you more about season 3. I devoured the first two seasons and this one is just ok. The Bates thing should have been wrapped up like 3 or 4 episodes ago.
ReplyDeleteI hope you had a good time hanging with your brother!
I haven't watched much of season 3, but mostly because I got completely spoiled on the plot. I have all the episodes, so I just need to sit down and drink and watch the show.
ReplyDeleteYou know I totally feel you on the love for the A Song of Fire and Ice series! I have the graphic novel too. My favorite characters are the Imp and Jon Snow.
I haven't watched Downton in soooo long! I'm pretty sure the last episode Mary and Matthew weren't even together yet!
