Top Ten (Tuesday) Most Frustrating Characters Ever

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish that combines lists and books.  This weeks topic is... most frustrating characters.  Is it just me or are all of the 2013 TTT topics AWESOME? As always, covers link to GoodReads.

Every Character Ever in:

...and I love it.

Boys that are frustrating in a good way:

Stop leading Adrian On, Chickadee:

Evil Step-Mom:

 Umbridge:

All of these books are some of my all time favorite reads, so that is probably saying something.

  1. Game of Thrones & the rest of the series - so agree - every character had me going*ughh* at some point or another.

  2. I do NOT know how I forgot Umbridge. She made me so mad since there was no reasoning with her. UGH. I love you you did this thematically!

  3. Somehow your list seems so much more positive than all the others I've looked at so far. Snaps for Steph.

Lissa frustrates me a lot more than Rose. She turned into a little bit of a pushover.

  4. Marcus Flutie totally is frustrating in a good way! Love it!

For real, let's not lead Adrian on. I would like those books way more if she chose him. Grrrr.

  5. Great list Steph! I loved Umbridge as a bad guy but she was frustrating as all get out. And Hale is totally frustrating in a good way. I just wish he didn't move at the pace of a snail!

  6. My only question is: Which boy specifically are you referring to with Georgia Nicholson?

  7. Right there with you about leading on Adrian!

  8. Ooooo! Boys that are frustrating in a good way! Nice interpretation! And I haven't read any of those books, so I clearly need to get on that!

I had Umbridge on my list too! She was the first one to pop into my head actually!

And the mom in Cinder was totally frustrating! I'm going to be re-reading Cinder next week in anticipation of Scarlet, so I'm sure I'll be feeling the frustration!

  9. Yes to all of 'em. Especially Rose and Marcus (and Jessica!)

Love the White Cat series, but don't feel super annoyed with any of them other than Lila. And maybe Barron. And their mom...well scratch my original thought. I see what you mean. :)

  10. Umbridge made my list too. She is EVIL. I decided not to do Game of Thrones since pretty much everyone, like you said, is beyond frustrating!

  11. Awesome list! Sansa Stark made my list...that series is full of characters that I love to hate, love to love, and hate to love. It's such an emotional roller coaster. Umberage and evil step mom are great choices too! http://wp.me/pzUn5-1on

  12. Yeah, books without characters that annoyed just wouldn't be as good. Funny how that works.

  13. Great list, Steph, and I totally agree on Game of Thrones, with the exception of Tyrion. I love the Imp!

  14. UMBRIDGE. That woman. I seriously hated her more than Voldemort.
