Top Ten (Tuesday) Bookish Goals for 2013
Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish that combines lists and books. This weeks topic is... Top Ten Bookish Goals for 2013. Guys... Goal lists are my favorite kind of list!
1. Go to BEA.
2. Use the library more.
3. Blog every day in 2013.
4. Finish either the Stephanie Plum or Myron Bolitar series.
5. Read more of the books I already own (TBR Intervention should help with that).
6. Revise my novel.
7. Read at least 2 non-fiction books this year.
8. Be consistent with Looks From Books.
9. Print awesome bookmarks!
10. Have fun.
What are your goals?

I need to use the library more, but I don't, and honestly that probably isn't going to change much.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with posting every day. That's quite a goal but I know you can do it! But it's totally ok if you don't do it too.
I LOVE TBR Intervention.Interactive and needed. I have just a couple TBR looking at me, but I should do this, too! I am on a ban from the library until I catch up.
ReplyDeleteYEAAAAAAAH, BEA!! Goal: Steph meets Steph this year. :D
ReplyDeleteThe library is the best! I highly recommend using it, not just for books, but DVDs, and audio books. My library's website lets you search and save to a wishlist, so it's like Amazon, but more awesome bc it's free. I save my wishlist, and go through it and request books if they are already checked out. The only downside, is there are a few authors I love who I've only read from library books, and i wish I had my own copy. Still, that's five or so books I might buy rather than about 50 I've checked out from the library last year.
ReplyDeleteLike you, I want to read more non-fiction. I just read a memoir, and I'm reading a history book now, which is a little dense, but it's written for a popular fiction audience, so it's not too bad.
I wish I could visit BEA, sounds like a lot of fun!
ReplyDeleteMy TTT
I'm probably going to BEA again! I was planning to do ALA, but then I've mostly changed my mind. Eeee!
ReplyDeleteWe should all have fun!
Yay -- I'll get to see you then :)
ReplyDeleteGosh, I definitely need to read the books in my TBR pile, and chill out with the new books. I need more time to read.
ReplyDeleteGoing to BEA would be amazing.
Good luck :)
Great list! I want to got BEA one of these years but it probably won't be this year though. I hope to go to ALA this summer but not sure yet. Tackling my TBR list is on my Top Ten list too. Happy Reading!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to go to BEA... I just wish it was a different weekend because my parents have a sweet timeshare on Hilton Head Island that same weekend and I go down every year. ARGH! Too much fun stuff going on in one weekend!
ReplyDeleteI am sooooo bad at reading non-fiction. Does a novel based on a true story count? Sometimes I read those...

Is it bad that I have no desire to use libraries? I love libraries but man I love owning my books! Plus I can write in them.
ReplyDeleteOh wow! Blogging everyday is a massive undertaking. Food me, anyway. Good luck with all your goals.
ReplyDeleteI'm impressed with the everyday posting goal! I'm just aiming at posting at least 4 times a week, so that my blog isn't just a bunch of Sundays in Bed With... and nothing else!
ReplyDeleteAnd I can't wait for BEA! I might take the train up, but have Aaron pick me up for the trip home so we can spend a day touring NYC.
I haven't decided if I'm going to BEA this year or not. I applied for the free press pass, so we'll see how that goes. But I'm moving to NC so the travel time is going to be horrendous, plus buying a new house is not conducive to spending a thousand dollars on a hotel room.
ReplyDeleteSo many different variables!
BLOG EVERY DAY!!! Girl you are CRAZY!!!
