I know that I've mentioned that I'm in school, but I'm not sure I've ever written about what I am studying. Last semester I took undergraduate background classes, and this semester I have officially started grad school. I'm attending the University of Mary Washington, working toward my M. Ed and initial teacher licensure (secondary English... surprise, surprise).
It's still early in the semester, but I had to start a blog for one of my classes. If you are interested in reading my assigned blogwork, you can check it out
here. Until then, I'll try to think of interesting stories to tell about myself. Let me know if you have any requests!
Ooh, interesting. Yes, I will go check out your homework!
ReplyDeleteI've been teaching for six years, so if you ever need to ask an education question, feel free. I've taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade, English, Reading, Special Education, Regular, and Advanced. Though I've lost my rose-colored glasses for a number of reasons and am currently looking at career options outside education. But I never thought I'd last 6 years, so I'm proud of making it that far.
ReplyDeleteYour school blog looks great! Though it looks like a lot of work! I have loads of opinions on NCLB...
I think it is so awesome what you are doing! I'm here for support and pep talks whenever you need them...but I'm guessing I'll end up needing them more then you will!
ReplyDeleteOh, you know I'm down with your new blog! I'm off to go check it out now!
