Question: What is the last book that kept you up late into the night just to finish it?
Last week, I actually stayed up two nights in a row with awesome books:
When I think about it, these books have a lot in common. Both books are told from the point of view of a headstrong girl who is on a high-stakes adventure. Amy blows up less cars, but has just as complicated a romantic life and both books made me laugh out loud. I wasn't planning on reading either of these in one sitting, but both had me texting and tweeting into the early morning hours, because I couldn't keep the fun to myself.
I actually reviewed Secret Society Girl yesterday and my review of Twelve Sharp will go up in the next week or two, depending on how my schedule goes down.

I can't wait to check out Secret Society Girl. And I really should make an effort to read some more of the Janet Evanovich series.
ReplyDeleteYou gotta love Stephanie Plum!

ReplyDeleteI honestly can't think of any book that kept me reading in one sitting that wasn't a book club book that I had procrastinated reading until the very last minute! So I'm impressed you had two!
ReplyDeleteDon't know these titles, but if they include a awesome protagonist then I'm all in! :D Followed back.

I love staying up late to finish a book! And usually I'm in such a good mood the next morning (if the book ended well) that I don't notice being tired until I come home and collapse.
ReplyDeleteI need to pick the Stephanie Plum books back up because I could use some high stakes adventure and comedy in my life :)
