Top Ten (Tuesday) Books To Get In The Halloween Spirit

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish that combines lists and books.  This weeks topic is... books to get you in the Halloween spirit.  As always, covers link to GoodReads.

Speaking of scary books... have you checked out Bloggers Dressed In Blood?  It's a fun Halloween Event that I'm co-hosting, where you can enter to win a ton of scary books from our personal collections AND a Kindle Touch.

  1. Ug, I'm SUCH a wimp when it comes to scary books, but I did really enjoy Name of the Star! Anna Dressed in Blood . . . not so much, but oh well.

  2. I've only read Anna Dressed in Blood and The Walking Dead but those all sound creepy to me.

The most recent spooky book I have read is The Hallowed Ones by Laura Bickle. So good!

  3. The only one I've read was Anna Dressed in Blood and it was creepy in the beginning but I felt meh toward the end, but I did like the writing and narration. What REALLY creeped me out was the audiobook!!!!!! Whoever read for Anna sounded like a 100 year old Russian woman, nothing Cas could fall in love with. LOLOL

  7. I still haven't read Anna Dressed in Blood.

It's not YA but I just finished Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn. THAT was creepy, on a psychological level.

  8. The Name of a Star. Can't wait to read that one. I'm reading I Hunt Killers right now. Loving it, especially if I'm wrong about who the killer is.
