Why I'm Excited: Um, I'm obsessed with this series and I have to know what happens next. Reading this series from the very beginning is killing me, because Rick Riordan is a seriously fantastic writer and he always leaves me hanging... in a good way.

Haven't read these books, nor watched the movies. And as a self-proclaimed lover of Greek myth/retellings I should be ashamed of that. Convince me to read these? Otherwise, I dunno that I'll ever make the effort...

I just couldn't get into the other Rick Riordan series, Percy Jackson. It wasn't bad, but it didn't click with me, you know? Is this one better?

I'm not sold on Rick just yet but I do plan on giving Percy Jackson another shot....when I have the time that is! But the cover of this one looks awesome!
ReplyDeleteI am so behind on this series! I loved Percy Jackson & the Olympians, and I immediately read The Lost Hero, but haven't read the second in ther series. Now it has been so long, I can barely remember what happened in the first book. I need to get caught up.
