This is one of my most anticipated titles of the year and also the one I'm most afraid of. I thought this was going to be the first book I read after BEA, but it has taken weeks to get to. My biggest fear is that this book will be awesome, but I won't like it because I wanted a second first time with The Scorpio Races. So far, I love it and I put it down when I find myself yearning Thisby. About 75 pages in, I think I'm finally safe from her Siren's call.

I haven't started this one yet, but I heard that it is supposed to be fantastic. I'm a bit scared to start it.

Meghan would be sooo jealous! She loves Maggie Stiefvater and I think this is like the one book she is dying for this fall..lol

I also put this one off. Also loved Scorpio Races. I cheated and read all my shorter Sept 18 releases :) But glad to hear that you love it so far!

ReplyDeleteYES. Just finished this and was late to start it for pretty much the same reason. But I didn't long for Thisby much because the books are so different, but pretty much equally compelling.

ReplyDeleteI hate to say it Steph but I am still on the fence about Scorpio Races! But I am very excited to read Raven Boys because I ended up loving the Mercy Falls series!
