Weekend Hops - August 31

Best Cover? What is the best cover of a book that you’ve read and didn’t like?

Guys, I was prepared to LOVE this book.  But I just couldn't.  I occasionally think of taking this review down, because it's kind of harsh.  But then I reread it and find myself agreeing all over again.  Fair warning, my review has Twilight comparisons.  It was 2010.  Forgive me.  It's the only time I've ever done it.

What is the one book or series you are dying to see turned into a movie or tv series?

Vampire Academy.  And not just so I can see a real life flesh and blood Adrian in his silky black boxers.  Okay... yes it is.  Hey look.  Kellan Lutz is already working on the black boxer scene.  And umm... this, which maybe you don't want to click on at work.

Happy Friday, friends.

  1. I haven't read Halo but I have heard some stuff so I don't think I will. My answer would probably be that Hush Hush book. I know you liked it but I really didn't. The cover was cool though.

I tried to click on that last "this" while at work, and our security system blocked me! How Rude!

  5. I know, I LOVE that cover. But I've never read the book. The cover is absolutely gorgeous, though.

  6. Nothing is wrong with writing harsh reviews if you're being honest. I know what you mean about the cover, it's so dramatic. Thanks to harsh reviews I didn't read this.

  7. I am not a fan of angel books usually, so I never planned on reading this, and now I don't even have to feel bad! I didn't do this meme, but mine would be Need by Carrie Jones. The cover is awesome, but the book tries very hard to be Twilight and fails even at that.

  9. For some reason I always steer clear of Halo. I'm just not sure if I'm going to like it! I absolutely love the cover though. :D

  10. Lol! So funny!

I haven't read Halo but I've heard some very mixed reviews, so I don't think I have it on my TBR list. Who knows though, my list is huge! :D
