Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish that combines lists and books. This weeks topic is... Top Ten Favorite Books You've Read During The Lifespan Of Your Blog. This week, I'll be linking to my past reviews instead of GoodReads.
This was probably the hardest Top Ten Tuesday ever. And I totally replaced some of the books in my original list, because I thought my review sucked (it was from when I first started the blog). But I'm definitely seeing a trend in what I picked: complicated relationships with EVERYONE, not just the love interest, tough choices, and sad times. What does that say about me?

Somehow, someway, somewhere deep inside me I KNEW The Scorpio Races would make this list. Baha. I wish I'd adored it as much as you did although I did like it very much. : )
ReplyDeleteThe Fault in Our Stars is definitely make it's rounds today, as I've seen. And not without reason, of course. Same is true for Pushing the Limits and Where Things Come Back. Crazy!
Lovely list and happy Tuesday!
Lists like these, for me, are soooo predictable. Because I am a book pusher. :)
DeleteI need to read Fault in Our Stars, curious about Revolution, and I wasn't a fan of Anna and the French Kiss so I won't be trying Lola's bk

I LOOOOOVE TFIOS. Def read it. And Revolution was phenomenal. It threw me off a little at the end... but just... wow.
DeleteI've only read Lola - which I really enjoyed so I'll have to check out the other ones. :)
ReplyDeleteLola is probably the happiest book on this list. Prepare to cry. :)
DeleteI could have picked some of these FOR YOU knowing how much you love TFIOS and Scorpio Races and Lola! I am a blog stalker :-)
ReplyDeleteGreat TTT!
HAHAHA. I've only mentioned the Scorpio Races in every other blog post. :):)
DeleteK, I'm really thinking I need to read Revolution. It always makes your lists.
ReplyDeleteIt's... different. But good. If you are one of those readers that FEELS when you read, you'll love it. I felt her pain within a few pages. I felt the music even though I was reading. It felt like i was living the history. Totally loved it.
DeleteI reallly need to read White Cat by Holly Black soon! I hear such good things and it looks like such a fun and quirky series! Wish I could just read all day :-( x
ReplyDeleteIt is so funny looking at your list because some of those books I remember your reviews so specifically but some of the others I can't remember at all! They must have been before my time. I'll have to go back and read those.
ReplyDeleteAww, I so wished I hadn't missed getting to do this TTT. I normally hate narrowing things down to "The Top Ten", because I put way to much thought into it, but this one seems like fun ;) I'm loving your list! TFIOS & PTL are such awesome books. I still need to read Revolution, because I loved A Northern Light. Plus, The Scorpio Races... I suck for not reading that one, yet :/
ReplyDeleteDude, how is it possible that I haven't even HEARD of three of these. O_O
ReplyDeleteI did really enjoy the 2 that I've read. That's right. Only 2 of them have I read. Eep!
Shocker! The Scorpio Races makes the list! Pushing the Limits is a no brainer. I just finished Red Glove and I get it so much better now. I think if I reread White Cat I would love it lots.
ReplyDeleteWell, we all knew The Scorpio Races would be on there! ;) I still need to read that! And I need to read lots more on your list! Oh, and I LOVED Maniac Magee as a kid! I think Elijah Wood wanted to star in a movie version back in the day but I don't think they ever made it... Such a good book!
ReplyDeleteThis is a fantastic list! I was planning on doing this top 10 but then completely forgot. The Scorpio Races, The Fault in Our Stars, and Lola would have been on my list for sure!

I've heard great things about both Revolution and Pushing the Limits. Going on the to-read list! :)
ReplyDeleteDid I mention that I sobbed this weekend as I finally read A Fault in Our Stars? I sobbed for like 200 straight pages. I think from page 103 on. That book was pure genius. And where can I find my own non-terminally ill Augustus?
