Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish that combines lists and books. This weeks topic is a freebie, so I'm doing... Books I'm Constantly Recommending. As always, covers link to GoodReads.
And it may not be a book... but I know I got a few of you hooked...
What do you constantly recommend?

Hehehe not event a title for D. Abbey, but it IS awesome. Great way to go with this TTT
ReplyDeleteI'm currently reading ANNA DRESSED IN BLOOD (via audio book). Finally!! I've heard so many good things about it and so far I am really enjoying it. I also love White Cat! LOL Maybe I just have a thing for guys named Cass? (The love interest/boyfriend in my novel is *also* a Cass.) :-)
ReplyDeleteThis reminds me that I still need to borrow the DVD from Kate. I must watch this.
ReplyDeleteOf the books on your list that I've read I fully agree with (especially Anna and Gatsby). And I promise to read The Scorpio Races someday (I also know that I say someday all the time. But there are just so many books!)
I haven't read any of those except for Anna Dressed in Blood and that would definitely be on my list as well.
ReplyDeleteI really want to read Holly Black's series. I have the last book - just need to get my hands on the first two.
I am watching Season 2 of Downton right now! Love Matthew and Mary's story even if they frustrate me at times. I need to read Anna and White Cat soon. I love that you recommend the Angus books...so funny!

Oh gosh I actually haven't had the chance to check out ANY of these books yet!
ReplyDeleteI'm picking up Paper Towns as soon as I can. Great list!
okay, the Angus, Thongs, etc book? I am PRETTY SURE they made a movie of it and I watched it and it was weird. O___o if it's the one I'm thinking of. But I did like what I saw! but it was strange.
ReplyDeleteALSO I SO AGREE RE: THE SCORPIO RACES. yessss. And Anna. And Janet Evanovich! Love that series, but I have yet to read #18!
They all look pretty interesting. Thanks for sharing!

Harlan Coben and Evanovich are both authors that I enjoy as well! I've been trying to get my sister to try One For the Money for months now!
ReplyDeleteThis is a great reading list - thanks for sharing these! I especially would like to check out Deal Breaker. I just finished an excellent medical thriller by J. Thomas Shaw entitled, The Rx Factor. The story fast-paced and has a hint of romance. Loved it! You can find the author's website here: http://www.therxfactor.com/
ReplyDeleteWell, your recommendation of The Scorpio Races was a huge win so I'm going to have to check out some of these others...especially Save The Cat.
ReplyDeleteTotally agree on Scorpio Races, Paper Towns (my favorite JG), Curseworkers and Downton Abbey!
ReplyDeleteDOWNTON ABBBBBBBBEEEEEEEEEYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI like how unique your list is. Definitely not quite any of the same ones I'm constantly recommending.
I'm so freaking excited for Baz Luhrmann's Great Gatsby!!! The trailer is AMAZING! Can Baz just remake every literary classic because he kind of does a phenomenal job. Especially with symbolism. And romantic tension. I'm assuming you are excited too since you listed Gatsby above.
ReplyDeleteAnd I got two girls at my grad school hooked on Downton and it's been so much fun watching them watch it... and seeing the predictions they make... and their reactions to the shocking moments! I love it!!!!! We are watching the Spanish Flu episode tonight and I anticipate lots of screaming at the screen :)

With all your recommendations you were successful in getting me to read the Curse Workers and Georgia Nicolson, and the first Percy Jackson even though he wasn't on the list. You did also get me to watch the first season of Downton and I want to see the second season but I don't have Netflix anymore so I haven't been able to watch it yet.
