Waiting On Ten by Gretchen McNeil

Waiting On Wednesday, hosted by Breaking the Spine, lets us book hoarding bloggers highlight a book we're excited for each week.  This week I'm waiting on Ten by Gretchen McNeil.

GoodReads Description:
And their doom comes swiftly.
It was supposed to be the weekend of their lives—an exclusive house party on Henry Island. Best friends Meg and Minnie each have their reasons for being there (which involve T.J., the school’s most eligible bachelor) and look forward to three glorious days of boys, booze and fun-filled luxury.
But what they expect is definitely not what they get, and what starts out as fun turns dark and twisted after the discovery of a DVD with a sinister message: Vengeance is mine.
Suddenly people are dying, and with a storm raging, the teens are cut off the from the outside world. No electricity, no phones, no internet, and a ferry that isn’t scheduled to return for two days. As the deaths become more violent and the teens turn on each other, can Meg find the killer before more people die? Or is the killer closer to her than she could ever imagine?
Why I'm Excited:
Ten comes out September 18, 2012 and I know it's pretty early for me to be doing a WoW post on it, but... there are so many reasons why I am waiting.  I picked it up at BEA (signed--Gretchen McNeil was awesome!) and it is one of my top six books that I'm excited for this fall.  It's a scary, scary book and it's storming, so perfect time to read it.  And Midnight Book Girl has been taunting me on twitter about reading her copy.  Mine is still in the mail and I am not happy with the post office.

    1. My box supposedly came today. But my mom has yet to confirm that it arrived instead of just being marked as delivered. they sent it to CO and I was too freaked out to tweet, but then they sent it to MD and I didn't tweet because I didn't want to jinx it. LOL.
