This Week's Best Writing Posts: 2/24-3/2

Heckling Office Supplies by Maggie Stiefvater.  Maybe not the most useful post this week, but definitely my favorite.  Also her 2012 Critique Partner Love Connection and From Rough to Final Continued.

Tuesday Talks about Adverbs by Kieryn Nicolas.  I never pass up the opportunity to hate on adverbs.  Seriously.

Edit, No...Rewrite, Nah...Revisions. Yeah, That's It. Handling Revisions. by Janice Hardy.  I love all her posts, but this one is particularly helpful.

Hearing Voices: Narrative and Dialogue by Dani Greer.  A cautionary tale for those of us writing first person narratives.

The most inspiring post of the week: Back to 1997 by Rick Riordan.

  1. Spot on post about adverbs being a weak option!

Great reminder about voice and point-of-view in narrative and dialogue.

And the post by Rick Riordan gave me goosebumps and made me smile! That's the kind of post I need to bookmark and save for a rough day.

    Thanks for sharing!
